What is Ritual?
Ritual is an online retailer of multivitamins and nutritional supplements with a focus on traceable sourcing of ingredients. They recently launched their first physical location in Los Angeles to engage with customers in-person and increase brand awareness.

With Ritual planning to open a physical location and expand their business offline, they needed a point of sale tool for their team members to use inside the store through an iPhone.

Other POS systems couldn’t do the job
Their team was nervous they’d have to build something more “hacky” that would have to interface between a Square POS or enter a customer’s card information on a website instead.
Needed seamless experience for customers
They wanted their in-store purchases to seamlessly sync with their online eCommerce platform, enabling customers to buy from either location.
Didn't have an internal mobile team to support the effort
They knew what they wanted do, but didn’t have mobile designers or developers internally to make it happen.

Fully customizable POS tool for iOS
Team members can use iPhones in the store to easily checkout customers no matter what they were planning to buy.
Hybrid ordering abilities
From product samples to subscriptions, it could all be done in the mobile app. This helps meet the needs of each customer to improve the in-store experience.
Syncs with online eCommerce system
When customers purchase in the store it syncs with their online account. They can then easily manage orders and subscriptions online at their convenience.
