Curling Tournament 2018
Event details
Event details
As a part of BACC's mission, we are curling to make an impact! We will be making a donation to Bigger Than the Trail. Their mission is to enrich the lives of individuals struggling with mental health by coming alongside individuals and providing educational support and treatment options.
How we'll get started
If you can't arrive by 6 pm, that's ok. Not everyone will be allowed on the ice at the same time. Just try to get here by 6:30. None of us really know how to curl, so we will all be getting a quick lesson in small groups thanks to the Green Bay Curling Club staff. After we're all warmed up we'll start competing with teams.
Build a team or come as you are
You don't need to have a team assembled to join in on the fun. Come as you are and be a part of an All-Star Team! Food and drinks will be provided just like previous events.
What to wear
It's 40 degrees in the icehouse, so make sure you are prepared for that. Here are some recommendations for you.
- Athletic-type shoes with warm socks.
- Flexible pants.
- Shirts with long tails (cover your rear!)
- Layers - sweatshirts, coats or jackets
- Thin gloves or mittens
- Hats
Keep the fun going!
We are also thinking of meeting up somewhere else after the event for those that want to continue the fun.
